Assistant Management Accountant Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and SCAPE. Formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient safe and sustainable land and property portfolio. We deliver multi- disciplinary property design consultancy master planning regeneration project/programme management construction emergency reactive compliance asset management and planned services on behalf of Nottingham County Council Your new role: Were looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our in-house Finance Team to support the production of financial and management reports. Are you a detail oriented finance professional who wants to play a part in supporting the Head of Finance drive forward improvements and efficiencies across the team If youre ready to bring your expertise to a team that prides themselves on collaboration accuracy and continuous improvement wed love to hear from you. What youll do: • As the Assistant Management Accountant youll report directly to the Head of Finance., • Youll support the preparation of monthly management accounts including job costing WIP analysis and project profitability., • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes., • Assist with budgeting and forecasting process., • Prepare and analyse cost value reconciliation (CVR) reports for review by senior Finance & Commercial staff., • Help coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations., • Prepare quarterly VAT returns. What youll bring: • Youll already hold (or be working towards) a professional accounting qualification (ACCA CIMA etc.), • Youll have experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role., • Ability to interpret and present financial data., • Ability to explain financial information in plain language., • Experience of using SAP Oracle & Sage., • Excellent Excel skills including VLOOKUPS pivot tables and formulas.
