Are you an experienced National Account Manager ready to take full ownership of a key UK grocery retail relationship? Do you thrive in a commercially led role where you can shape strategy, drive growth, and act as the lead voice for your customer internally? Are you based in Yorkshire or open to a Yorkshire-based opportunity? MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to appoint a Senior National Account Manager – Key Retail Lead. This is a permanent, Yorkshire-based role. You will act as the commercial lead for a key UK grocery retail account, owning the end-to-end relationship and driving sustainable, profitable growth. Key Responsibilities: • Take full ownership of a strategic retail customer, leading the commercial agenda and long-term growth plan, • Act as the primary commercial interface, building a high-impact, collaborative partnership with your customer, • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), shaping strategy and aligning mutual growth objectives, • Own all commercial negotiations including pricing, promotions, range reviews and trading terms, • Identify and unlock opportunities across distribution, category growth and promotional performance, • Work cross-functionally with category, marketing, NPD and supply chain teams to deliver best-in-class execution, • Use data, insights and market trends to inform and refine account strategy, • Deliver against revenue, volume and margin targets, with full P&L accountability for your account What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager within FMCG or food manufacturing, • Strong, established relationships with major UK grocery retailers (e.g. M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-op), • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of owning and growing key accounts, • Confident negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally, • Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable commercial plans, • Based in Yorkshire or open to relocation Salary highly competitive For more information, please contact Alice Redmond.
