Social Worker CAMHS (Part-Time) ?? Wolverhampton, West Midlands (WV1) ?? Part-Time 22.5 hours per week (across 3 days) ?? £43,500 £45,000 pro rata (depending on experience) About the Role Are you a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity within CAMHS ? Do you have the skills and resilience to support young people and their families during periods of crisis , while navigating complex mental health challenges? We are seeking a Social Worker to join a Tier 4 CAMHS service in Wolverhampton, providing specialist inpatient care for young people with complex mental health needs. About the Service This Tier 4 CAMHS setting , part of a specialist healthcare provider, delivers inpatient eating disorder services for young people aged 1018 years whose needs can no longer be safely met within the community. The service is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care , focusing on recovery, safeguarding, and positive long-term outcomes. Key Responsibilities As a core member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team , you will: Assess the social care needs of children and young people with complex mental health presentations in line with the NHS & Community Care Act 1990 and the Care Programme Approach Work with young people experiencing: Eating disorders Autism Attachment difficulties Learning disabilities Developmental conditions Support young people who may be detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 Design, coordinate, implement, and review social care elements of individual care plans Work collaboratively with clinicians and professionals across the MDT Provide Safeguarding practice leadership , offering advice and guidance to staff and managers Contribute to safeguarding enquiries , serious case reviews, and place/borough-based safeguarding processes About You You will be: A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England Experienced in working with children and young people , ideally within CAMHS, inpatient, or mental health services Confident operating within multi-disciplinary environments Knowledgeable in safeguarding legislation , statutory frameworks, and mental health law Compassionate, organised, and committed to improving outcomes for young people and families Whats on Offer Opportunity to work within a specialist Tier 4 CAMHS service Supportive, experienced multi-disciplinary team Part-time hours supporting worklife balance Competitive pro rata salary based on experience The chance to make a meaningful and lasting impact TPBN1_UKTJ
