Working one hour per day, you will ensure the safety and orderliness of pedestrians approaching or waiting at the crossing point and crossing the road. What you will be doing You will provide safe road crossing services for children and adults at fixed sites, helping to ensure their safety. It will be key for you to build and maintain strong relations with pupils, parents and staff. It will be your responsibility to report any problems, hazards or incidents to the Lead Road Safety Officer. Working with a range of basic equipment to complete tasks, you will check stock to ensure that materials which are necessary to do the job are available and report any defects. What we need from you We require you to have some practical skills in order to facilitate safe road crossing and be willing to undertake basic training.
