Duty Management Responsibilities When acting as Duty Manager, you will: Oversee opening and closing procedures to ensure the venue is safe, clean, welcoming and operationally ready. Act as lead contact during emergencies, including fire evacuations, liaising with colleagues and emergency services. Manage building issues during the day and coordinate external contractors when needed. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and incidents are recorded accurately. Take the lead in resolving visitor or client concerns professionally and calmly. Act as a point of contact for front of house teams. Ensure food safety and cash handling procedures are upheld at all times. This is not an exhaustive list, and flexibility will be required in line with the needs of the organisation. Person Specification Essential Experience in hospitality, particularly within a café or bar environment. Experience supervising a team and motivating others to deliver high standards.
