As a Mobile Dispensing Optician you will work across different stores within a defined geographical area to support our stores with cover when people are out of the business. About the role Our Mobile Dispensing Opticians play a key role in the area at providing crucial clinical support in stores for regulated dispensing. You will work very closely with a Mobile Optometrist and provide a customer experience where there is a seamless journey for the patient from chair to dispense. You will also: • Role model leadand deliverexceptional care supporting patients and customers to make appropriate choices regarding optical and healthcare products and services, • Work flexibly across the opticians area according to business need continually developing your knowledge so that you can be at your best for patients and customers, • Provideexpert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements, • Deliver complete healthcare solutions for our patients and customers and coachother opticians team members to do the same, • Workwith the Boots Healthcare teams to give a one health solution, • Supervise the development education and training of colleagues and supportand mentorstudents (including Student Dispensing Opticians), • Complywith the standards of practice and the current Boots Opticians clinical policies and standard operating procedures, • Supportthe opticians team to deliver an efficient model day and other operational processes to ensure that the opticians business trades legally and safely, • Get Involved in regular store leadership team meetings to ensure high clinical standards are maintained to support patient safety, • Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC), • Optical experience and expertise, • Great at building relationships.
