Our Junior Consultant role is designed to do exactly that. As part of Amplifi’s Academy, this development pathway gives you the opportunity to learn by doing. You’ll combine formal learning, hands-on project experience, and structured personal development, all focused on building the skills and confidence needed to succeed as a Technical Business Consultant. This role is intentionally tailored to the Technical Business Consultant career path, giving you relevant exposure to real projects, real clients, and real delivery teams from the start. As this is the first step in your career with Amplifi, your responsibilities will evolve as you grow. You’ll be supported by experienced consultants, work alongside delivery teams, and gain meaningful client exposure all in an environment that prioritises learning, development, and progression. Our past Academy graduates have come from all walks of life - Graduates, Assistant Bar Managers, and Contract Administrators - and they’ve all shared a common passion for learning and a love for data. You will be reporting into our Head of Learning and Development for the first phase of your journey at Amplifi. WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO Learning & Development • Start with an immersive Academy phase that mixes in‑person sessions and self‑guided learning, • Build core consulting skills, from business analysis through to working with data, • Support live client projects alongside Technical Business Consultants, Application Consultants, Data Engineers, and all of the Amplifi Team, • Assist with requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation, • Support workshops, discovery sessions, and client engagement activities, • Learn to capture and document business and functional requirements, • Support as-is and to-be process analysis, • Create clear, structured documentation for technical and non‑technical audiences, • Work collaboratively as part of cross functional project teams, • Get involved in internal initiatives, communities, or committees, • Build strong internal networks and contribute to Amplifi’s culture and values WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO BRING You might be a great fit for this role if you: • Are interested in consulting, business analysis, and technology, • Have a passion for data and problem solving, • Are organised, curious, and keen to learn, • Enjoy working as part of a team, • Be a confident communicator, • Exposure to business or process analysis (academic or practical), • Experience capturing or documenting requirements, • An interest in data management or technology, • Basic technical or coding knowledge PROGRESSION This Junior Consultant role is a direct pathway into the Technical Business Consultant role. Throughout the programme, you’ll: • Build the core skills required for technical business consulting, • Gradually take on more responsibility in analysis and documentation, • Develop confidence in client facing work WHY AMPLIFI This is an incredible opportunity to join Amplifi and be fully trained from the ground up. INTERVIEW PROCESS We will be holding interviews on the 18th May, with the intention of having the successful candidate start on the 20th July. The interviews will be held in a group format, where candidates will complete several tasks and participate in a brief individual interview. We keep them informal and relaxed to match our culture, and it will be a good opportunity to meet various people across the team, including people who have been through the Academy in the last few years.
