We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Halton, Liverpool.Our Kildare home is a three-bedroom adults' home in Hale Village, Halton, with easy access to local parks, green spaces and village amenities.The people who live at Kildare each have their own unique personalities, interests and ways of communicating. They enjoy spending time in the garden, going on drives around the local area, trains, bowling and visiting the arcade. One person living at Kildare has cerebral palsy and requires consistent support. Our experienced team provides personalised, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and wellbeing, ensuring everyone can take part in the activities they enjoy and live life in the way that suits them best.As a Senior Support Worker, you will be leading the team whilst you are on shift, acting as a role model to deliver the highest standards of care. You will develop strong relationships with the team and the people we support to ensure the best possible outcomes.You will get to know each individual, find out their interests, and support them to achieve the small and big steps in reaching their goals and living the life they choose. The people we support also take part in a variety of activities including swimming and bowling as well as in-house activities and attending college or work placements.As a Support Worker, you will be a key part of their day-to-day support team, actively valuing and amplifying what matters to them, empowering their communication and independence, planning fulfilling activities. You will also keep records of their needs, support provided and progress.No two days are the same, you could be supporting someone to settle into their new home, develop independence and life skills, enjoy activities they love, or achieve important milestones. Support Worker (Children's) At Bright Futures, we champion the potential of every person with autism and a learning disability, believing wholeheartedly in their ability to thrive and lead the most fulfilling lives. We're looking for passionate and caring Support Workers to join our specialist home in Widnes. Our Widnes Children's home is a large, detached property supporting five children aged 7-18 with a diagnosis of autism and learning disabilities. The home has an enclosed, spacious garden with swing, slide and climbing frame. It is surrounded by countryside but within close proximity to Widnes town centre. The children love taking part in activities in the local area including ice skating, trampoline parks and swimming. The home is also only 5 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the children love watching planes land and take off from the garden. As a Support Worker, you will be a key part of their day-to-day support team, actively valuing and amplifying what matters to them, planning fulfilling activities. You will also keep records of their needs, support provided and progress.
