To be a successful Technical Delivery Manager, you should have: • Project Management experience working on change management initiatives with experience in financial would be ideal., • The ability to effectively communicate with, influence and manage stakeholders at all levels of seniority, taking account of their levels of influence and interest. This includes identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups. This is key to the role., • Experience of leading delivery / implementation in salesforce in some shape or form. Ability to establish and operate a governance model that defines clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for oversight of the execution of change initiatives., • The ability to identify, define, evaluate, plan, track and realise the outcomes and benefits of change initiatives. Demonstrate detailed understanding of all the required steps for the successful delivery of an initiative is implemented successfully and effectively, by the impacted business or service area. This role is based out of our Knutsford office. Purpose of the role To manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, adhering to agreed time, budget and quality requirements. Accountabilities • Management of the delivery, resource allocation and improvement of complex technical project capabilities across the bank using Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and the execution of sprints., • Collaboration with customers and business teams to manage and implement customer trails to support the proposal of technically feasible solutions, and effort and timeline expectations., • Collaboration with software engineers, quality teams, product managers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle aligned to the banks objectives, regulation and security policies., • Identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with technical projects to prepare the bank for potential challenges., • Management of change requests and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle., • Management of vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms., • To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions., • Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function. Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes, • If the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying a combination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required outcomes., • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues., • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda., • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done., • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function., • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy., • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively., • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
