As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering parcels safely and efficiently to customers across your allocated delivery area. The Company is seeking a London Regional Sales Executive to develop and manage its customer base across London and the surrounding areas. The role sits within the Sales & Purchasing Department and reports directly to the Purchasing & Sales Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing business customers, identifying and developing new customer accounts, understanding customers’ purchasing requirements, promoting the Company’s product range and converting customer enquiries into sales orders. The role will involve regular communication with customers regarding product requirements, pricing, availability, quotations and orders. The Sales Executive will also work closely with the Purchasing & Sales Director, Customer Service Department and Warehouse Department to ensure that customer requirements are accurately communicated and orders are efficiently processed and fulfilled. As the Company specialises in Chinese and Asian food products and works with Chinese-speaking customers and business contacts, the role requires effective communication in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Who are we looking for: • Educated to degree level or above, preferably in Business, Sales, Marketing, International Business or another relevant discipline., • Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, wholesale, food distribution, trading or a similar customer-facing commercial role would be desirable., • Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to identify prospective customers, understand their purchasing requirements and convert enquiries into sales., • Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills, with the ability to discuss quotations, pricing and commercial terms with business customers., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers., • Able to develop a good working knowledge of the Company’s Chinese and Asian food product range, including relevant product information, pricing and availability, in order to provide appropriate information and recommendations to customers., • Well organised and able to manage multiple customer accounts, enquiries, quotations and orders simultaneously., • Self-motivated and able to independently develop sales within an assigned geographical region while working effectively with the Company’s purchasing, customer service and warehouse teams., • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication with English- and Chinese-speaking customers and business contacts and handling product and commercial information relating to the Company’s Chinese and Asian food product range.
