The Role The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of restaurant service during their shift, ensuring service standards, guest satisfaction, and team performance are maintained across the floor. They are also responsible for assisting the senior management team with BOH systems. They will have a role in engaging with customers and feeding information back to the senior team. Complaint handling will also be a major part of the role - dealing with complaints during service and following up after service. Key responsibilities and distinctions: Oversees the entire front-of-house shift, not just a section. Assisting other team members with section control, clearing and resetting tables Controls service flow and table turn timing Handles and resolves escalated guest complaints May assist with rota input, training, and procedural compliance Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager - who is overseen by the AGM and General Manager Holds operational shift-level authority, capable of deciding on comps/discounts May have the responsibility of managing the end of shift including locking the doors and completing the EOD report May assist with updating training documents to further team improvement About You We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional who shares our passion for service excellence.
