What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering technical support and engineering tasks across a busy Windows environment, including: • Reviewing Windows-related service requests and providing fast, accurate responses, • Using automation to build images, documentation, work instructions and server configurations, • Building and configuring Windows Servers (predominantly virtualised on VMware), • Physical server builds and racking within secure data centre / computer room environments, • Updating and maintaining gold images, patching and upgrading Windows Servers, • Producing capacity management reports and attending engineering meetings, • Ensuring all builds align with internal and customer standards, • Visiting customer or company sites when required to support installations or documentation reviews, • Highlighting risks or issues early to protect timelines, costs and solution quality, • Supporting testing activities, • Investigating, assessing and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs, • Adhering to Change, Release, Configuration and Security policies What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone with experience across: • Windows Server, • Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, • VMware, • Backup technologies (NetApp SAN, Cohesity desirable), • Microsoft System Centre Operations Hours & Working Pattern • Monday to Friday between 07:00–19:00, • 37 hours per week, • Shift examples: 07:00–15:30 or 10:30–19:00, • 26 days annual leave + public holidays (3 flexible), • Pension with double-matching contributions up to 10%, • Life assurance, • Company-wide incentive schemes, • Flexible benefits (extra holiday, dental, travel, critical illness, etc.), • Perks at Work – discount platform, • Employee Assistance Programme / Virtual GP
