Senior Payroll Officer / Payroll Manager Inc. Consulting is delighted to be supporting a business in Grimsby in their search for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer. This is a key role within a small Payroll team and will involve managing multiple end-to-end payrolls. Role Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of payroll, including processing starters and leavers, timesheet analysis, holiday pay calculations, statutory sick/maternity pay (SSP/SMP), HMRC submissions, and Payroll Year End obligations., • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, including overtime, shift allowances, statutory payments, and National Minimum Wage., • Administer the pension scheme in line with Auto Enrolment and pension legislation., • Respond to payroll queries relating to tax, NI, pension, and Auto Enrolment., • Set up new payrolls and extract/prepare information from time recording systems., • Design reports and upload information into payroll systems., • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues or errors., • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required.
