Broome Park Hotel is a Grade I listed country estate set within 250 acres of parkland near Canterbury, combining historic character with a modern, multi-revenue hospitality operation. The property features 22 bedrooms and suites within the main mansion, alongside 14 woodland lodges and self-catering accommodation, supported by a strong mix of weddings, events, food and beverage, and an 18-hole golf course designed by Donald Steel. Positioned as a destination venue, it balances heritage with commercial performance, attracting leisure guests, corporate events, and golf members while driving revenue through a diverse and integrated business model. We are Currently recruiting a Food and Beverage Manager. We’re looking for someone who wants to take full control of a multi-outlet operation, build a team that performs, and raise standards across the board. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of a busy, high-potential business. The Role You’ll take ownership of all Food & Beverage operations across: · Restaurant & Bar · Weddings, Conferences & Events · Golf outlets · This isn’t about maintaining standards, it’s about driving them. · You’ll lead from the front, build a strong, accountable team, and deliver consistently high-quality service while keeping tight control of costs and performance. What You’ll Be Doing · Leading, developing and challenging your team to perform · Setting and driving service standards across all outlets · Owning rotas, staffing levels, and productivity · Managing budgets, forecasts, and departmental performance · Working closely with the kitchen to ensure consistency and quality · Ensuring full compliance (food safety, H&S, licensing) · Acting as Duty Manager within the leadership team What We’re Looking For · Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager (minimum 2 years) · Background in a 4* hotel or similar fast-paced environment · A strong leader who can build a team and get results · High standards and attention to detail · Calm under pressure and confident in your decisions Why This Role? · This is not a “keep things running” job. · This is your chance to take ownership of a key department, shape the team, drive performance, and make a visible impact on the business. · If you want responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build something better—not just manage what’s already there—you’ll fit here.
