    Job Title: Salon Manager (1253) Company: Dream Nail TVN Employment Type: Full-time Salary: £27,500 - 29,000 per annum Reports To: Company Director Company Overview Dream Nail TVN is a nail and beauty salon established in 2018 and based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The salon focuses on providing professional nail care and beauty services in a comfortable, welcoming and relaxing environment. Our services include manicures, pedicures and acrylic nail extensions. We are committed to providing clients with a high-quality experience through professional services, friendly staff and a well-managed salon environment. The salon operates Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced and organised Salon Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating salon activities, supervising staff, maintaining customer service standards, managing stock and supplies, and supporting the Company Director with the effective running and development of the business. The role requires strong organisational and people-management skills, a professional approach to customer service, and the ability to manage the operational requirements of a busy nail and beauty salon. Key Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day operation of the salon and ensure that the business operates efficiently and professionally., • Organise staff rotas, allocate duties and ensure appropriate staffing levels according to customer demand and business requirements., • Supervise salon staff, monitor attendance and performance, and provide day-to-day guidance and support., • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees where required., • Monitor the quality and standard of services provided by salon staff and ensure company procedures are followed., • Maintain high standards of customer service and deal professionally with customer enquiries, feedback and complaints., • Manage appointment schedules and coordinate customer flow to ensure efficient use of salon capacity., • Monitor stock levels of nail products, beauty supplies, cleaning materials and other salon consumables., • Coordinate purchasing and liaise with suppliers to ensure that the salon has sufficient stock and equipment., • Monitor the cleanliness, presentation and general condition of the salon and ensure appropriate health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained., • Monitor salon equipment and facilities and report maintenance or replacement requirements to the Company Director., • Maintain appropriate records relating to staff, stock, purchases, appointments and other salon operations., • Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve service quality and customer retention., • Assist the Company Director with monitoring sales, operating costs and general business performance., • Prepare regular operational updates and report staffing, customer, stock and other business issues to the Company Director., • Ensure that confidential customer, employee and business information is handled appropriately. Requirements • Bachelor's degree, Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience in Business Management, Hospitality, Beauty, Salon Management or a related field., • Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably within a salon, beauty, hospitality or customer-service environment., • Experience supervising staff and managing daily business operations., • Strong understanding of customer service and client relationship management., • Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to manage staff, resolve routine workplace issues and maintain professional standards., • Experience with appointment booking systems, stock management or other business administration systems is desirable., • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records., • Ability to work independently, take initiative and support the Company Director in the management of the business., • Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach., • Previous experience in the nail or beauty industry is desirable.
