Registered Manager – Ofsted Children’s Home Location: Burnley Salary: £58,500 - £63,500 Contract: Full-time, Permanent About Us We are an ambitious and child-centred organisation committed to providing high-quality, therapeutic residential care for children and young people. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted-registered children’s home. The Role As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, management, and operational oversight of the home. You will ensure the service meets Ofsted regulations, delivers exceptional outcomes, and provides a stable, supportive environment for children and young people with complex needs. Key Responsibilities • Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated staff team to deliver outstanding care., • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards., • Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and behaviour support practices., • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality care planning., • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively., • Build strong relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders. We’re looking for a confident, resilient leader with a genuine passion for improving children’s lives. Essential Requirements • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting., • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015., • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)., • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive positive outcomes., • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection., • Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), trauma, or complex needs., • Competitive salary and performance-related bonuses., • Ongoing training, CPD, and professional development opportunities., • Supportive senior leadership team., • Clear career progression pathways.
