JOB ROLE - Senior Account Manager 📍 Location: Grimsby / Lincoln (Hybrid) 💻 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent 💰 Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 basic + bonus and commission incentives The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager with proven experience in a digital agency or similar environment. This role suits someone who is confident in managing client relationships, leading digital conversations and helping clients make informed decisions about their websites, eCommerce platforms and marketing activity. You’ll be working with clients who rely on us for advice across web development, eCommerce and digital marketing. Because of this, we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate strong experience discussing digital solutions and translating complex projects into clear business value. Just as importantly, you’ll be joining a close-knit team who genuinely enjoy working together. While experience is important, being someone who collaborates well and contributes positively to the team is just as important. The Role As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and play a key role in building strong, long-term relationships. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring they always feel informed, supported and confident in the work we’re delivering. Internally, you’ll work closely with our development, design, marketing and support teams to make sure projects run smoothly and that clients get the best possible outcomes. You’ll also play an important role in helping support and mentor more junior members of the Account Management team by sharing your experience and helping them develop their skills. What You’ll Be Doing Client Leadership • Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of key client accounts, • Able to travel for face to face meetings when necessary, • Lead regular performance and strategy conversations with senior stakeholders, • Translate complex digital work into clear commercial outcomes, • Build long-term partnerships based on trust, expertise and reliability Strategy & Planning • Develop and own the digital roadmap for key accounts, • Identify opportunities to improve performance, user experience and growth, • Lead strategic planning sessions and quarterly reviews, • Ensure client activity aligns with wider business goals Commercial Ownership • Manage scopes, proposals and pricing conversations in line with Laser Red’s rate card, • Identify opportunities for additional work that delivers value for clients, • Ensure work is delivered efficiently and profitably Delivery & Problem Solving • Act as a central hub for resolving delivery challenges across teams, • Anticipate risks and address issues before they escalate, • Ensure internal teams have clear direction, context and priorities Team Contribution • Support and coach Junior Account Managers and Account Managers, • Share knowledge and experience to help raise standards across the team, • Contribute to improving how we manage accounts and client relationships What We’re Looking For Experience • Proven experience working in a digital agency or similar environment, • Demonstrable experience managing multiple client accounts, • Strong understanding of digital services such as:, • Web development, • eCommerce platforms, • Digital marketing, • UX / CRO You don’t need to be a developer, but you should feel comfortable discussing digital projects and solutions with confidence.
