DevOps Engineer / SysAdmin - IBM Cloud, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Linux, RHEL, Apache, Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Salt, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, MySQL, Oracle, Shell Scripting; ITIL. Contract, 12 Months+, Inside IR35, Bedfordshire / Fully Remote / UK Wide. £425 - £540 (Contract Rate) Well established business consultancy seeks Devops Engineer / SysAdmin to join a small team and lead production systems administration and DevOps tasks relating to one of its core industry data insight platforms. With multiple facets and integrations to the system the Devops Engineer / SysAdmin will manage applications deployed in a range of environments but primarily focussed on AWS and IBM Cloud. Utilising a range of skills you will: • Support production Linux / RHEL infrastructure and associated applications ensuring high availability, • Configure infrastructure environments for automation/orchestration; optimise for efficiency, • Conduct root-cause analysis of application and infrastructure faults and resolve technical problems, • Perform system upgrades across infrastructure, database and containerisation technologies, • Spin up server environments utilising automation tools such as Salt, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, • Manage AWS and IBM Cloud environments using Shell Scripting techniques and core Java where applicable, • Configure web servers and containerisation tech inc Apache, Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes We are open to DevOps Engineer / Systems Administrators / SysAdmins from all industries to assist with the workload during a period of growth and expansion. You will work within a small team leading technical initiatives at times and bringing news skills were possible. Aside from this, you will be required to support the team in the ongoing production workload in terms of problem identification and resolution. We are searching for candidates who: • Possess strong Linux Systems Administration skills and experience: CentOS, RHEL etc, • Experience working with a range of cloud technologies inc AWS, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, GCP, • Have strong scripting and management skills with a range of languages inc Bash and Java, • Be comfortable working with automation tech for infrastructure and containers inc Terraform, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes etc, • Have worked with a range of database environments inc MySQL, Oracle, Vertica (desirable), • Possess solid core networking principles VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancing, • Bring excellent organisation and communication skills and an awareness of ITIL We are able to offer this role to candidates across the UK to work on a fully remote basis. There will be an onboarding period at the company’s HQ (local accommodation costs provided) in the first two weeks and occasional check-ins at the companies premises on an ad-hoc basis. The contract rate stated includes a total rate for all employment costs prior to the gross pay-rate which will be paid weekly.

Provide thoughtful feedback, empower, and mentor other designers on the team to do their best work. Who You Are • Ideally you'll have 5+ years of experience working in the field of Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design., • A portfolio showcasing proven user-centered design practices and a high degree of design craftsmanship., • Experienced in crafting web products and UI for enterprise users., • Passion in distilling complex use cases and requirements into sophisticated, scalable, optimised design solutions., • Excellent collaboration and communication skills., • A self-starter and a teammate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, agile environment., • Meticulous, with a keen eye for consistency., • Experience working with Figma, our primary design tool., • Experience in the finance industry is not required, but a huge plus.
