Pizza Chef/Chef - Brighton, East Sussex Hourly rate to be agreed, plus a share of service charge We are a long-established, family-run restaurant in the heart of Brighton and are currently looking for a Pizza Chef/Chef to join our team. We pride ourselves on the quality of our dishes and use only authentic Italian ingredients as well as fresh local seafood that is brought in daily. As this is a dual role, you will be required to have experience in making pizzas as well as working on a section within the kitchen. You should be able to closely follow recipes and work well within a team including independently. You will be required to maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene and cleanliness at all times, ensuring daily records are maintained. You'll receive a share of service charge, free meals on shift and discounted food and drinks when you dine with friends and family. Sous Chef - Brighton, East Sussex £14-17ph, plus share of service We are a long-established, family-run restaurant in the heart of Brighton and are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. We'd really like to hear from you if you share our passion for using fresh ingredients, and preparing authentic dishes from scratch, including fish and seafood which we buy in daily. You will be required to have at least 1 year of experience and a background in Italian cooking would be a bonus. Training is provided and so this is not essential, though you should have a keen interest in Italian cuisine. You must be hardworking, punctual and have experience of working in a fast-paced and busy environment. You will also be required to fully support a small team of chefs and kitchen assistants. Working closely with your team, you’ll ensure Health/Food Safety practises are followed and daily records are maintained and kept up-to-date. Aside from offering a great hourly rate you'll receive a share of service charge every month, free meals on shift and discounted food and drinks when you dine with friends and family.
