Teaching Assistant - SEN Location: Harlow, EssexStart Date: SeptemberContract: Full-timeSalary: £1,800 - £2,200 per month About the Role Veritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Harlow to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. This is a full-time 1:1 role, supporting a Reception pupil with mild to high SEN needs who is new to the school. You will play a key role in helping the pupil settle into school life, build confidence, and access learning in a supportive and structured environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone with SEN experience or a graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience. About the School The school has a strong inclusive ethos and a supportive staff team. Staff work closely together to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment where all pupils are supported to succeed. Key Responsibilities * Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN * Support academic, social, and emotional development * Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning where needed * Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement * Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team Requirements Essential * GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) * Experience working with children or in an SEN setting Desirable * SEN experience (ASD, ADHD, speech & language) * Degree or strong interest in education/psychology How to Apply If you're a passionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
