Looking for a conveyancing role where you can actually enjoy being a conveyancer? If you're an experienced Residential Conveyancer who is tired of relentless caseloads, constant interruptions and feeling like the only measure of success is how much you bill, this could be a very different opportunity. Clayton Legal are working with a forward-thinking and rapidly growing law firm with an established reputation for excellent client service and a strong focus on its people. As part of its continued expansion across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire, the firm is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join one of its West Yorkshire offices. You'll manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, with the autonomy to take ownership of your clients and transactions. Your caseload is likely to include: • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, • Remortgages, • Transfers of equity, • New-build transactions, • Shared ownership, • Right to Buy matters You’ll review titles and searches, raise and respond to enquiries, prepare contracts and reports on title, manage exchange and completion, and deal with post-completion requirements. Most importantly, you'll have the time, support and resources to provide the level of client care you know you should be able to deliver. The firm understands what causes burnout within conveyancing - excessive workloads, constant interruptions and the feeling that you have to do everything yourself. That's why they've invested in a structure designed to allow fee earners to focus on fee earning and looking after their clients. You’ll benefit from: • Dedicated reception and telephone support, • Strong internal processes and systems, • A supportive team and genuine open-door culture, • Autonomy over your own caseload, • A growing legal support function, • Modern technology and AI-enabled software, • A collaborative environment where colleagues genuinely support one another In other words, you won't be expected to be your own secretary, administrator and fee earner all at once. Progression doesn't have to mean simply taking on a bigger caseload or more responsibility. The firm has ambitious growth plans and a strong track record of developing its people, meaning there are genuine opportunities to develop your technical skills, take on additional responsibilities, support junior colleagues or even explore other areas of the business. Whether your ambition is to progress within Residential Property or eventually move into another area of law, internal development is actively encouraged. Alongside a competitive salary(£35k-£50k, depending on experience), the firm offers a strong benefits package including: • Profit Share Bonus, • Hybrid Working, • 33 days' annual leave, including bank holidays, • Extra day off for your birthday, • Enhanced pension - 5% employer contribution / 4% employee, • Paid volunteering time, • Latest AI technology and legal software, • Funded eye tests, • Free on-site parking, • Free food and drinks in the office, • Wellbeing support, • CPD provided as standard You’ll be an experienced Residential Conveyancer with a proven ability to manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion. More than anything, the firm is looking for someone who: • Takes pride in delivering excellent client service, • Has strong technical residential conveyancing knowledge, • Can manage their own caseload effectively, • Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and third parties, • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team, • Is keen to develop themselves and those around them, • Wants more from their career than simply hitting billing targets If you're an experienced conveyancer who wants autonomy without isolation, progression without unnecessary pressure, and a genuinely supportive working environment, this could be an excellent next move. #J-18808-Ljbffr
