Electrician (Social Housing) – Testing & Remedials West London & Surrounding Areas | Full-time | Permanent £45,000 – £55,000 per annum + benefits We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical and property services contractor for a skilled Electrician to join their team, working within the social housing sector across West London and surrounding counties. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a stable, well-supported role with a strong mix of testing and remedial works. The Role: You will carry out a combination of EICRs, and follow-up remedial works across residential and some commercial properties. Work is geographically planned to minimise travel, providing an efficient and structured working day. Key responsibilities include: • Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), • Completing remedial works following inspections, • General electrical maintenance and reactive callouts, • Repairing, replacing, and upgrading wiring, fixtures, and equipment, • Installing consumer units and distribution boards, • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations To be successful, you MUST have: • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation / AM2, • City & Guilds 18th Edition, • Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent), • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician (domestic & commercial), • Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: • £45,000 – £55,000 salary (DOE), • 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm), • Optional overtime (weekends/out of hours), • 20 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service), • Additional leave for your birthday and festive period, • Company van, fuel card, tools, PPE and uniform provided, • Home permit costs covered, • Bonus scheme, • Pension scheme, • Training and career progression opportunities, • Health & wellbeing support, discounts and savings scheme, • Regular company social events
