Part time applications will be considered. In the Worcester Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) we strive to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our local communities. We have incorporated a huddle into the daily functioning of the team which enables us to be focused on the recovery of the patient through a multidisciplinary approach, with expertise from doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers and psychological therapies staff. In addition to meeting Home Office salary threshold you must have the significant experience to be offered top of the pay band AND work a minimum of 35.5 hours per week. • Work as a key member and resource of the MDT core team., • Work closely within the MDT, undertaking and supporting individuals accessing the service in recovery‑focused activities., • Support registered professionals to deliver evidence‑based interventions, managing a caseload of patients., • Support and signpost to improve social isolation and population health., • Experience of working with this user group in community settings., • Be able to work flexibly as the need of the service demands., • Attend weekly MDT meetings, participate in professionals meetings, signpost to adjunct services depending on patient need. The ability to cope with changing situations to routine is also important., • Able to meet the travel requirements of the post., • You understand that we will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for this role., • Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-level, NVQ3) in Care or equivalent qualification or experience, • Level 2 qualification (e.g., GCSE, NVQ2) in Care or equivalent qualification or experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post., • Will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust., • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer., • Ability to challenge poor behaviour, • A positive attitude and able to act on feedback, • Ability to praise and be supportive to others, • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
