Co-owned by Bear Grylls, we’ve built one of the UK’s fastest-growing DTC brands, joining the A-list of brands recognised and loved by British consumers. All of it within a span of just three years, and we are only just getting started! Now, we’re launching something new 🤫 And this time, we’re building the brand in public. 🚀 The Opportunity We’re looking for a Social Media Lead to build and own the social presence for a brand-new product from day one. You won’t be just “managing social” INSTEAD, you’ll be creating it from scratch. We’ve secured a major influencer as the face of the brand, with a huge existing audience. Your job is to turn that attention into a living, breathing social presence that people want to follow, engage with, and be part of. This is an organic-first role. No hiding behind big production or long timelines. Just ideas, speed, taste, and execution. 🎯 What You’ll Own 📲 Organic Social Strategy & Execution • Own and run our Instagram account end to end, with support across Facebook and TikTok, • Define how the brand shows up socially, from tone of voice to content style, • Plan and publish content across grid, stories, reels, and reactive moments 🎥 Content Creation (iPhone-first) • Create content yourself. This is not a “brief it out” role, • Shoot, edit, and post using an iPhone or simple tools, • Capture moments in real time rather than overproducing 🎨 Visual Identity & Design • This is important. You would bring a strong eye for design and aesthetics across all social outputs, • Create simple but high-quality, compelling graphics for posts, stories, and campaigns using tools like Photoshop, Canva, Figma, or similar, • Help shape and maintain a cohesive visual identity as the brand grows ⚡ Speed, Ideas & Experimentation • Bring a constant stream of ideas. Test quickly, learn quickly, repeat, • Jump on trends, cultural moments, and opportunities in real time, • Balance consistency with creativity. Know when to double down and when to pivot 🌱 Community & Brand Building • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a real community, • Turn the influencer’s audience into our audience, • Help shape a brand people feel connected to, not just marketed to 🤝 Collaboration • Work closely with the wider marketing team, including Paid and Creative, • Collaborate with the influencer and supporting talent where needed, • Feed insights back into the business. What’s landing, what’s not, what we should do next ⚙️ In Your First 3–6 Months ✅ Launch and establish the social presence for the new product ✅ Define the tone, look, and feel of the brand on Instagram ✅ Build a consistent content rhythm across posts, stories, and reels ✅ Start turning audience attention into engagement and community ✅ Identify early content formats that drive traction and repeat them 🌍 In 12 Months ✨ Build a recognisable, distinctive social brand ✨ Grow a highly engaged audience, not just a large one ✨ Establish repeatable content formats that drive performance ✨ Become the go-to voice for how the brand shows up socially 💡 You Might Be the One If You… • Have 2–5 years of experience in social media, ideally in DTC or founder-led brands, • Have built or significantly grown a social media presence before, not just maintained one, • Are a doer. You don’t wait for perfect briefs, you just start creating, • Think creatively, but execute practically, • Have a strong eye for design and can create clean, on-brand visuals using lightweight tools, • Are comfortable owning content end to end, from idea to post, • Understand what makes content work on Instagram, and increasingly TikTok, • Are plugged into culture, trends, and how people actually use social, • Thrive in fast-moving, low-structure environments, • Care about the details.
