The Opportunity: As a Mimir Engineer you’ll join one of two sub-squads, Ingest or Query, that together maintain the open source _ and operate Grafana Cloud Metrics across three major cloud providers. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-performance distributed systems where efficiency, resilience, and reliability are essential to keeping our metrics offerings competitive and smooth at massive volumes. Mimir engineers work across a variety of streams. You'll be joining Crimson, one of Spotted Zebra's AI Augmented Delivery (AAD) Crews - a lean team made up of a Product Manager and two Product Engineers. This is a role for someone who genuinely lives and breathes building for end users. You'll partner directly with your PM to shape and define what gets built, bringing your own product intuition to every conversation, and then go away and execute - owning the build out largely solo, with the support of your crew and subject matter experts in Data Science and Design, and seeing it all the way through to production.
