We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Liquidity Risk to join our Treasury Risk team within the Risk and Compliance department. This role is located in London. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: • Providing independent oversight of liquidity risk management through review and challenge informed by technical analysis, subject matter expertise, and robust consideration of risk appetite., • Engaging with partners in Corporate Treasury, Finance, Businesses, and other Risk teams to identify solutions that support BNY’s Client and Enterprise Platforms., • Supporting senior management to develop and maintain liquidity risk frameworks, including risk identification and assessment, design and calibration of limits, and effective governance., • Creating new tools and enhanced processes that leverage AI, automation, and technology resources to improve the team’s ability to measure and monitor risks across the organization. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred., • Professional experience, with background in liquidity risk or other related financial risk departments within banking or financial services., • Familiarity with liquidity and treasury risk management activities including funding, cash flow projections, deposit modeling, liquidity metrics, and stress testing., • Experience building and maintaining risk frameworks and processes, collaborating with business and corporate function partners, and supporting other staff to ensure accurate, timely implementation and consistent practices., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to produce professional presentation decks using MS PowerPoint., • Demonstrated ability to perform technical analysis, use data-driven approaches, and employ available tools and applications. Experience working with SQL, Python, or other languages is a plus, as is experience with data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau). You will be responsible for a number of tax audits, acting as the point of contact with the main audit team, and working closely with junior staff and tax partners to deliver this work. Company Description The Anthro joint venture between ___ and ___ will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works. Job Purpose To lead and deliver the detailed design of specialist structural bracketry systems from concept through to fabrication-ready documentation. The candidate will be the technical authority for all bracketry-related structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with the relevant Eurocodes, fire engineering requirements, and interface coordination with MEP, architectural, and civil disciplines. The role demands a rigorous, first-principles approach to structural analysis combined with strong commercial and programme awareness. This will be for Anthro Joint Venture (VVB Engineering and Egis). Working in the Anthro design office, London, 3 days week, and attending site meetings at Old Oak Common where required. You will be responsible for leading production, checking and coordination of bracketry, secondary, tertiary steelwork works across the project. This will include interface with MEPHFC engineering, architectural and BIM/digital staff members. As a senior engineer you will work under the direction of the Engineering Lead, coordinating with our MEPHFC designers, client BBVS, and third-party work packages. You will use your knowledge and skills to deliver the right quality to time and budget. This will include: • Management, coordination and agreement of bracketry and support structures for building services with our CREs/Lead Engineers, and third parties, • Apply EN 1990 (Basis of Structural Design) for load combinations and reliability classifications appropriate to the bracket system and its consequence class., • Design steel brackets and connections to EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-1-8 (joints), and EN 1993-1-3 (cold-formed sections) as applicable, with full ULS and SLS checks documented., • Assess the fire resistance requirements of structural bracketry in accordance with EN 1993-1-2 (Structural Fire Design), applicable national annex, and client requirements/standards, • Determine critical steel temperatures and evaluate passive fire protection strategies (intumescent coatings, boarding, spray-applied systems) in coordination with the client., • Structural review of design and third-party proprietary systems, including; reinforced concrete, precast concrete, steelwork, blockwork to ensure bracketry solutions are viable, • Lead workshops internally and with the Client and Principal Designer to agree or escalate issues, evidence coordination and record actions via RFI, • Provide weekly reporting for Anthro/client BBVS, • Manage resources, or third party organisations, to ensure works completed on time and to budget, • Escalate matters of concern via the NEC 3 Early Warning Notice General Duties To complete tasks to relevant engineering standards meeting the requirements of the client remit, as well as relevant legislation, company standards, and client procedures.
