Hours of Work: part time As an External Academic Board Member, you will play a vital role in providing independent oversight and strategic challenge to our governance processes. You will attend key meetings, scrutinise documentation, and offer expert advice on quality assurance, academic standards, and regulatory compliance to ensure continuous enhancement of our programmes and student experience. External Academic Board Member Duties include attending three Academic Board meetings annually, providing constructive academic scrutiny, reviewing relevant documentation, advising on quality assurance and regulatory expectations, offering external insights on risk and enhancement, and producing an annual report with observations, risks, and recommendations. Your strategic input will help shape policy, maintain standards, and foster innovation within our organisation.
