    Duties and responsibilities: • To work as part of a team of carers under the direction of the Registered Manager, • To deliver care to clients as directed by individuals plan of care, • Recording and reporting to senior staff, • Washing and dressing patients and aiding in their personal hygiene, • Assisting patients to access and use toilet facilities, • Serving meals and helping to feed patients, • Helping patients to safely move around, • Assisting with bed making, cleaning tasks, errands, or general duties, • Collecting pathological specimens e.g., Urine, faeces, sputum, • Making patients and their families feel comfortable, • Monitoring and reporting patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight measurements. Skills/Qualifications/Experience: • Experience of working with older people and/or a willingness to learn (Preferred although all training will be provided), • A caring and compassionate attitude with a strong desire to help others., • Good standard of written and spoken English., • Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and company policies., • Willingness to complete the Care Certificate and ongoing training., • A relevant bachelor’s or Master’s degree., • Previous experience working with older people or in a care home setting.
