Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking schools and alternative provision settings to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable ALN Teachers who can deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to learners’ individual needs. About the Role As a Teacher of ALN, you will: • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to ALN learners in line with the national curriculum and individual learning plans • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for learners • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times • Contribute to the wider school or alternative provision community What We’re Looking For To be considered, candidates must have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (Elementa can assist) • Previous experience teaching ALN learners • Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills Desirable: • Experience in ALN schools or alternative provision • Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning • A reflective and flexible approach to meeting learners’ needs Recruitment & Safeguarding Information All applications will be managed by Elementa Support Services as the recruitment partner for this client.
