The Role: The position involves moving vehicles between sites, customer locations, and delivery points while ensuring every load is handled safely. Good road awareness and a careful approach to vehicle security are essential. Key Responsibilities: • Transport vehicles safely between agreed locations., • Check loads, straps, and securing equipment before departure., • Keep accurate records of collections and deliveries., • Follow route plans and driving compliance requirements., • Maintain good communication with the transport office., • Identify and report any issues affecting the journey or vehicle condition. Requirements: • Full UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence., • Valid CPC and digital tachograph card., • Relevant car transporter or vehicle delivery experience., • Strong organisational and communication skills., • High standards of safety and professionalism., • Ability to work independently and reliably. This role involves travelling to various client sites to perform maintenance, repairs on light commercial vehicles and cars . The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent diagnostic and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments. The position offers opportunities for professional development and hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and machinery. Responsibilities Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles and cars. MOT preparation and inspections Diagnose faults and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety. Minimum 3 years experience within the vehicle workshop or working as a Mobile Vehicle Technician Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in repair work. Full UK driving license. (no more than 6 points on driving license) Proven experience as a van or commercial vehicle technician Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Prior experience working independently .
