Deputy Children's Home Manager - Full-Time - On-Site Location: Wembley Hours: This role is a full-time role (40 hours per-week) Hourly rate: £18.62 Sleep-in rate: £70.50 Company Overview: With over 60 homes across London, Peterborough, Northampton, Norfolk and Kent — plus a specialist school for children aged 8–18 — SBCHL is committed to changing lives. Person Specification: • You should have at least two years’ experience relevant to residential care within the last five years., • At least one year of experience supervising and managing professional staff., • Sound knowledge and understanding of Children Homes regulation including Quality Standards 2015, The Children’s Homes (Amendment) Regulations 2011, Care Standards Act 2000, Ofsted and related legislation, and policies and procedures., • You should hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent., • You should hold a Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young Peoples Services or be willing to work towards., • You should be dedicated to providing outstanding care, • You should be suitable to work with Children.
