Job Description Want to play a key role at Genomics England in sharing amazing work that genuinely changes lives and positively impacts healthcare for real people? As our Communications and Engagement Coordinator, you’ll be the glue for our busy, high-performing communications and engagement teams - keeping projects on track, content flowing, and events running smoothly. This is a real hands-on role where you’ll manage requests, create and publish content, support events, and help improve how we work - balancing day‑to‑day delivery with opportunities to shape better processes. What you’ll do: • Manage day-to-day project and planner activity in (url removed), tracking milestones and keeping information up to date and accurate • Triage and action incoming requests through our support forms, ensuring timely responses • Supporting delivery of our events programme including logistics and on-the-day support, as well as overseeing the company-wide events approval process • Collate content and produce internal/external emails, including our bi-weekly staff • Create and publish engaging, accessible content on our internal and external websites • Provide admin support across the team, including shared inbox management, purchase order and invoice management and meeting coordination • Support desk-based research and reporting, gathering information and producing clear summaries • Help improve team processes and ways of working, including developing our use of (url removed) What we’re looking for: • Experience coordinating tasks, managing priorities, and delivering to deadlines in a professional environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to clarify requirements and keep people aligned • Excellent organisation and attention to detail - you follow things through and your work is reliable • Comfort using Microsoft Office suite, project management tools like (url removed), and Content Management System (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms • A practical, delivery-minded approach - happy doing the coordination and admin that underpins great communications, engagement and events • A constructive mindset for improving how things are done If you want a role where you’re trusted with real responsibility, work across a wide mix of communications and engagement activity, and can clearly see the impact of what you deliver week to week - this Communications and Engagement Coordinator role really is a great opportunity to build strong, transferable experience while supporting work that is changing our national healthcare.
