HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California. • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/24/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 34 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Unit Description – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Type of Care Provided: • Comprehensive critical care for adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening or unstable conditions, • Manages medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, and trauma ICU cases, • 28 rooms / 28 beds, • Days: 1:2, • Nights: 1:2, • Sepsis, respiratory failure, ARDS, cardiac arrest, acute stroke, renal failure, and post-operative management, • Continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, • Titration of cardiac and vasoactive IV drips, • Ventilator and airway management including tracheostomy and BiPAP/CPAP support, • Management of invasive lines: arterial, central, PICC, and pulmonary artery catheters, • Care for post-cardiac surgery, ECMO, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, Impella, and TAVR patients, • CRRT initiation and monitoring for renal support, • Administration of blood products and emergency medications, • Interpretation of ABGs, EKGs, and dysrhythmias, • Documentation: Not specified (EPIC commonly used), • Medication System: Pyxis, • Communication: SBAR, • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, • 24/7 in-house provider coverage (intensivists, hospitalists, anesthesiologists, NPs), • Minimum 2 years ICU experience, • Must be competent in managing ventilators, titrating critical drips, and interpreting cardiac rhythms, • 12-hour shifts (days/nights), • Float and call may be required, • Orientation: 12 hours, • First-time travelers not accepted, • Block scheduling preferred, • High-acuity, fast-paced environment requiring strong critical thinking and rapid response skills HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
