Job Description Essential Job Functions: • The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned., • Assist the Survey Crew Chief in daily operations with his assigned crew including, but not limited to, • Managing materials and equipment, • Quality control, • Jobsite and coordinating with other team members and superintendents under the direction of the Survey Crew Chief for the best utilization of PSCC resources., • Execute work according to plans and directives received from the Survey manager/Superintendent/Crew Chief. Communicate regularly and effectively with the Survey Crew Chief. Technical Knowledge: • Be able to read and have a thorough understanding of construction plans as related to survey work., • Know what resources are included in the assigned work and manage accordingly. (Permanent materials, construction materials, equipment, small tools, etc.), • Punctual Ability to stand or sit for long periods; handle and manipulate controls on a repetitive basis. Ability to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. Ability to climb in and out of equipment, ability to lift 40 lbs. Environmental Adaptability: Work outside in all weather conditions, and various locations and times of day. Hard hat, hearing and eye protection, Hi-visibility clothing required. Must have own transportation to and from jobsite. Hours Information: • Normal hours are M-F, 7am – 3:30pm, • Hours can extend depending on production needs., • Some Saturdays as necessary. We are off on Sundays., • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Some of our clients require random drugs screens as well.
