Aurora offers access to Denver healthcare jobs and the scenic Rocky Mountains, making it an ideal location for travel nurses seeking both professional growth and lifestyle benefits.\n \n\nEstimated Weekly Salary\n\n • Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070\n\n\nPCU Nursing Job Details\n\n, • Location: Aurora, CO 80045 (Denver metro area)\n, • Healthcare Setting: Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (36 beds, expanding to 51)\n, • Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract\n, • Start Date: December 15, 2025\n, • End Date: March 16, 2026\n, • Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n, • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Patient Ratios: 3-4:1\n, • Charting System: Epic EMR\n, • Scrub Color: Navy\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Active Colorado or Compact RN license required\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in hematology/oncology or BMT\n, • Current AHA BLS certification\n, • Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC required; ONS/ONCC preferred)\n, • Proficiency with Epic charting system\n, • Ability to float to similar clinical units as needed\n, • Weekend shifts required per unit needs\n, • Travel nursing experience preferred\n\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n\n, • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with blood cancers undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies\n, • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, including continuous infusions and oral medications\n, • Monitor and manage central lines, ports, and chest tubes\n, • Recognize and respond to complications such as tumor lysis syndrome, sepsis, graft-versus-host disease, and extravasation injuries\n, • Implement neutropenic precautions and manage side effects including nausea, vomiting, neuropathy, and altered mental status\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care\n, • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR\n We believe in empowering your career.
