Job Summary: Magnum is looking for a new team member to add to the Accounting/Finance team. This is a high impact role that will play a key part in re-engineering the accounting and finance processes and department operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will play a critical part in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow management, and strategic decision-making. There will be a mix of transactional functions, strategic planning and operational oversight. The ideal candidate, with a self-starter mentality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, and can build scalable financial processes. This will be a great opportunity for leveraging prior experience, applying broad accounting and business knowledge, with an end goal of helping to build out a best-in-class department. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, banking, and general ledger activities, • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and forecasting models, • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, • Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and company liquidity, • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, audits, and internal policies, • Partner with leadership to support strategic business decisions, • Maintain and improve internal controls and financial systems, • Support external audits and coordinate with external tax advisors, • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and financial performance metrics for leadership, • Manage financial risk, cost controls, and profitability analysis, • Implement best practices for scalable financial processes and systems Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (bonus for CMA, CPA or MBA), • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance; 2+ years in a leadership role, • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes, • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, • Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel, • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities Preferred Experience • Experience in fast-growing consumer products, retail, or manufacturing environments, • Multi-channel revenue model (eCommerce, wholesale, B2B), • Inventory-based accounting and COGS management What Youll Bring • Strategic, business-partner mindset, • Ability to build scalable financial processes, • Continuous improvement mentality, • High integrity and sound financial judgment What We Offer • Competitive salary, • Comprehensive health benefits, • PTO, holidays, and additional wellness perks, • Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Statement: Magnum Bikes is an equal opportunity employer.
