We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to ownership, this executive will serve as a trusted strategic advisor responsible for guiding financial strategy, strengthening operational performance, supporting growth initiatives, and helping position Future Automotive Group for continued long-term success. The Opportunity The Chief Financial Officer provides enterprise-wide financial leadership while serving as a strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership. This role balances financial stewardship with operational leadership, ensuring the organization is positioned for sustainable growth, sound financial management, and continued operational excellence. Key Areas of Responsibility Strategic Leadership & Organizational Growth • Partner directly with ownership to develop and execute the organization's long-term strategic vision., • Provide executive financial leadership on growth initiatives, acquisitions, capital investments, and enterprise planning., • Serve as a trusted advisor supporting executive decision-making and long-term organizational success., • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and enterprise value. Financial Strategy & Stewardship, • Lead enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting., • Develop financial strategies that support sustainable growth while maintaining fiscal responsibility., • Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful business insights to executive leadership., • Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting. Operational Excellence, • Partner with General Managers and Business Office Managers to strengthen financial performance across all dealership operations., • Analyze key performance indicators, including gross profit, net profit, fixed absorption, inventory turns, cash flow, expense management, and productivity., • Drive operational consistency through process improvement, financial discipline, and best practices., • Design, enhance, and implement scalable financial processes and procedures that improve organizational performance. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management, • Provide executive oversight of accounting operations, internal controls, financial reporting, and OEM reporting., • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal and state regulations, OEM requirements, lender agreements, and internal policies., • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, ethical leadership, and regulatory compliance., • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, external auditors, and strategic partners. Treasury, Capital & Strategic Growth, • Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, floorplan financing, liquidity, and working capital., • Evaluate financing opportunities and capital investments that support long-term organizational growth., • Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions and strategic expansion opportunities., • Champion technology, financial systems, and business intelligence that improve reporting and executive decision-making. Leadership & Organizational Development, • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance organization., • Foster a culture grounded in integrity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement., • Develop future financial leaders through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning., • Inspire teams to embrace innovation while supporting the organization's long-term vision. What We're Looking For We're seeking a collaborative executive who combines financial expertise with operational insight and a passion for building exceptional teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who communicates with transparency, builds trusted relationships, and enjoys partnering with ownership to solve complex business challenges. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field., • Minimum of 10 years of progressive executive financial leadership experience., • Experience leading finance within a complex, multi-location organization., • Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, treasury management, internal controls, and corporate compliance., • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Preferred Qualifications, • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master of Business Administration (MBA)., • Multi-franchise automotive dealership experience., • Experience with dealership acquisitions and integrations., • Strong knowledge of CDK, OEM reporting requirements, and floorplan financing. Executive Compensation & Total Rewards Monthly Base Salary Ranges between $10,000 - $20,000. In addition to a competitive annual base salary, this position offers a comprehensive executive compensation package, including both monthly and annual executive incentive opportunities. Monthly incentive earnings have historically ranged from $10,000 to $25,000, based on company and individual performance. Final compensation will reflect the candidate's executive leadership experience, qualifications, and the strategic value they bring to Future Automotive Group.
