WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS: Typically, this animal care position will work 5 days per week, between Monday and Sunday, with availability spanning between 7 am - 9 pm. However, your shifts may vary according to our business needs. As our Pet Care Specialist - Veterinary Technician, you'll be the heartbeat of our wellness team. You'll care for the health of our furry guests, provide daily medical directives, and maintain a sanitized, safe environment they can thrive in. From administering medication to updating records and ensuring every tail is wagging, your role is vital. Every day brings new challenges - and new reasons to be proud of what you do. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Requirements: • 2 years of Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, such as standing for extended periods and lifting 50 lbs., • Great critical thinking, active listening, time management, and multitasking abilities, • Strong attention to detail, • Highly professional and ethical with a positive attitude, • Veterinary technology degree OR a human healthcare certification, • 2+ years of vet tech OR human healthcare experience, • Customer service experience, • Experience with mentoring/training a team Job Posted by ApplicantPro
