We are looking for a Graphic Designer who possesses the maturity, passion, and energy to collaborate with others on the team. We need someone who communicates well with not only clients, but with everyone in-house to effectively manage deadlines. While last minute rush jobs are not the work anyone is looking for, we have established a reputation for being able to deliver on unreasonable deadlines. Good time management is of the upmost importance. As a Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create graphics for production across various media. Everything from simple digital print, wide format printing, mailings to dimensional lettering, pan face signs, vinyl vehicle wraps, cnc cutting and so much more. While it would be great to find someone skilled in all aspects of design what we want most is drive, curiosity, creativity and desire to learn. This position is full time and our hours are from 9am - 5pm 5 days a week. Pay and benefits are based on experience. Job Description Position Overview: Board In Birmingham is seeking creative and detail-oriented Charcuterie Board Artists to design and prepare beautiful, high-quality charcuterie boards for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food presentation, excellent organizational skills, and an eye for aesthetics. Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification to ensure proper food handling and safety standards. Applicant must also hold or be willing to obtain certification in the Responsible Vendor Program. Part-time & Full-time positions available. Key Responsibilities: • Design and prepare visually stunning charcuterie boards, incorporating a variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, nuts, and other specialty items, • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with ServSafe guidelines, • Ensure freshness, quality, and proper portioning of ingredients, • Collaborate with management to develop seasonal or themed board offerings, • Monitor inventory of charcuterie ingredients and supplies, • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times, • Interact with customers to answer questions and provide information about the charcuterie boards, • Contribute to the overall guest experience by creating unique and memorable food presentations Qualifications and Requirements: • Must hold or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification & Responsible Vendor, • Previous experience in food preparation, catering, or culinary arts preferred but not required, • Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to food presentation, • Knowledge of food safety and proper handling of ingredients, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods, • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Benefits: • Competitive pay plus tips and possible commission, • Opportunities for creativity, advancement & growth, • Fun and collaborative team environment, • Staff discounts and perks, • 401k plan with 3% company match

YOUR ROLE AS A TAZIKIS PART TIME GRAPHIC DESIGNER: • Complete all assigned inbound creative requests for the brand and local markets within established and agreed-upon timeframes, • Execute approved creative assets in alignment with brand standards, templates, and direction provided, • Prepare and finalize art files for print production, • Support menu management and versioning processes as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency, • Collaborate on execution of approved artwork and signage as needed for new builds and refreshes, • Utilize BOX as the primary asset management platform, ensuring proper file naming, storage, and version control, • Maintain organized creative files and documentation, • Communicate project status clearly and consistently (on-time, at risk, late, or pending information), • Escalate risks or blockers proactively to the Strategic Production Manager, • Must be at least 21 years of age, • Bachelors degree in graphic design or 35 years of relevant graphic design experience, • 35 years of experience in a design or production-focused role, • Strong execution mindset with an emphasis on consistency, accuracy, and follow-through, • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets), • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Experience with asset management and project tracking platforms (BOX and ClickUp), • Comfortable working within Apple-based environments, • Proficient in Google Suite, • Flexible schedule, • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: hours generally fall between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday may be a possibility after six months.
