Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Media Manager is responsible for stewarding Navian Hawaii’s online presence with compassion and cultural awareness. This role uplifts the voices of patients, families, caregivers, and community members through thoughtful storytelling, responsive engagement, and dynamic content. The ideal candidate balances technical expertise with emotional intelligence, understanding that every message can provide comfort, connection, and clarity. This position plays a key role in shaping the organization’s digital voice and ensuring alignment with Navian’s mission and values. Primary Responsibilities: Digital Media Management • Plan, craft, and implement platform-specific content strategies that reflect the dignity and diversity of our mission., • Create and schedule posts including copywriting, photo selection, and short-form video editing (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)., • Monitor comments and messages with compassion, engaging thoughtfully and responsively., • Collaborate with care teams and program leads to identify meaningful stories for digital sharing., • Track analytics and trends to assess reach and engagement, adjusting strategy accordingly., • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital channels., • Manage and update website content regularly, including blog posts, program pages, and news updates., • Coordinate with external vendors for website design and development projects, ensuring alignment with brand and mission., • Partner with internal teams and external organizations to amplify community voices and initiatives., • Analyze performance metrics and trends to inform content strategy., • Provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and audience growth., • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in digital media content creation and strategy, • 5+ years of experience with digital media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc), • Familiarity with video editing and image tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Canva, CapCut), • Strong storytelling skills with cultural sensitivity, especially when working with end-of-life and pediatric content, • Basic understanding of digital media analytics tools, • Previous work in healthcare, nonprofit or community-based organizations, • Understanding of local cultural values and practices, with a strong commitment to honoring them in digital spaces, • Experience working in emotionally sensitive environments where discretion and empathy are key, • Work from home role with occasional in-person meetings, • May require lifting and transport of supplies up to 25 lbs., • Occasional after-hours or weekend work based on operational needs., • Team-oriented, locally run nonprofit where every voice is heard, • Competitive pay with an excellent benefits package, • Operates phone system, computer (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and e-mail) pencil sharpener, calculator, and copier, • Occasional use of own personal motor vehicle which meets valid registration and insurance requirements., • Must possess a valid Drivers' License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation., • $80,900-$105,000
