Position Overview: Director, Revenue and Subscriber Acquisition will be an experienced results-driven renewable energy professional who will lead the revenue-generating operations of Aspen Powers national portfolio of distributed generation solar assets. This role focuses on optimizing revenues and profitability associated with residential, commercial, and industrial off-takers, ensuring sustained subscription- and collection-levels and enhancing the effective management of Aspens growing community solar and C&I portfolio. The ideal candidate willdemonstrate an entrepreneurial passion for renewable energy development and a desire to work with stakeholders across the nation to transform the way energy is procured. Director of Customer Acquisition and Management will report to the VP of Acquisitions and Structuring. Responsibilities: Revenue Strategy & Optimization • Define and execute the companys end-to-end revenue strategy, aligning customer acquisition, vendor selection, tariff and customer-class selection, and data-management tools and oversight., • Partner with origination, finance, asset-management and executive leadership to forecast, track, and report on revenue performance., • Monitor policy and rules at the utility, local, state and federal levels to ensure revenue is optimized across Aspens portfolio of distributed-generation assets and to facilitate strategic decision-making related to new markets and growth opportunities. Community Solar Subscriber Acquisition & Management • Track and manage customer churn, collections, and bill-credit allocations in concert with third-party partners to ensure accurate billing and sustained revenue streams., • Negotiate, execute, and manage contracts with third-party customer acquisition and management firms., • Establish performance benchmarks and conduct regular reviews to ensure contract compliance and continued alignment with program requirements and company objectives; implement corrective actions as needed, • Manage vendor payment calculations and milestones; provide internal visibility to Aspens accounting, asset-management, and financing departments and senior leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Support financing due diligence by providing updates on subscription milestones and relevant customer data., • Create feedback loops in the dissemination of key project-inputs (costs, churn-rates, etc.) to assist Origination and Project Finance teams in ensuring proper valuations and to help establish a competitive advantage during the sales process., • Facilitate C&I transactions in conjunction with Origination, Project Development, and Asset Management in response to billing and collections inquiries, change-in-ownership, contract and/or lease extensions, and other commercial issues that arise. Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Business, Sustainability or related field. Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is: $160,000 - $180,000, plus individuals will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
