Job Description Job Title: Distribution Center and Supply Chain Manager Department: Operations Location: North Bergen, NJ Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary: The Distribution Center and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods. This role requires strong leadership, managerial experience, and an ability to optimize logistics processes to meet customer and business demands utilizing data driven decision making. Key Responsibilities: Distribution Center Operations: • Manage daily warehouse and distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping., • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards., • Oversee equipment maintenance and facility management to ensure smooth and safe operations., • Develop and optimize supply chain strategies to minimize cost and maximize efficiency., • Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping, and logistics functions from inbound freight to outbound shipping., • Work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to improve lead times and reduce supply chain bottlenecks., • Supervise and develop warehouse and logistics staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement., • Conduct performance reviews, training, and team-building initiatives., • Identify opportunities to implement automation and technology-driven solutions., • Lead continuous improvement projects using lean or other tools and provide measurable results. Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations (distribution center experience required)., • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills., • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite., • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and KPIs to make data driven decisions and recommendations., • Combination of office and warehouse environment., • May require travel between distribution sites or to vendor locations.
