About the Role: The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading our operational accounting function in a fast paced, high-growing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is comfortable scaling processes from the ground up, driving accountability, and improving efficiency. This position requires an individual who is proactive, detail oriented, and confident in navigating complex situations. The ideal candidate takes ownership, communicates effectively, and can balance big-picture thinking with day-to-day execution. How youll make a difference: • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, communication, and issue resolution, • Support treasury activities, including cash management and payment planning, • Prepare and review journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation, • Perform and review general ledger reconciliations, • Reconcile MSO accounts and evaluate balances for potential swaps and offsets, • Drive process improvements, automation, and documentation across AP and operational accounting workflows, • Manage intercompany billings, allocations, and reconciliations, • Support internal and external audit requests, including year-end audit and interim reviews, • Hire, train, and develop AP staff and AP consultants, • Set clear goals and expectations; conduct regular performance check-ins, • Identify growth and development opportunities for team members, • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team environment, • Lead by example and align team performance with company values, • Coach and mentor team members to build a high-performing, scalable function Skills to be Successful: • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar operational accounting role, • Experience managing high-volume accounts payable environments, • Experience working in a multi-entity environment, including intercompany payables, • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis, • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Sage Intacct, Stampli experience is a plus, • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment in a fast-paced environment Perks & Benefits: Full suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parental leave 401 (k) Paid Time Off Short Term and Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Employee life insurance and supplemental life Spouse and child life and AD&D Pet insurance FSA and HSA available Work Environment and Physical Demands: The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
