Our team is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support multi-state payroll operations and help keep things running smoothly. What You’ll Do As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. In this role, you will: • Process multi-state payroll for multiple locations including payroll for 3,500+ employees weekly., • Handle tip-related payroll, ensuring proper allocation and compliance., • Ensure payroll reporting, labor approvals, and compliance standards are met., • Handle stop payments, reversals, and manual checks., • Support tasks such as validating/loading files, W-2 reissues, and per diem processing., • Reconcile monthly accounting tied to store-level payouts., • Manage garnishments and support new store openings., • Provide excellent service to employees and internal departments regarding payroll inquiries., • Create and manage payroll cases through CRM case tracking., • Cross-train on all payroll functions and assist with special projects., • Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (experience may substitute)., • 1+ year of payroll experience in a high-volume environment, including payroll for 3,500+ employees., • Experience processing tip-related payroll., • Workday experience required., • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently., • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
