Job Description Darbytek is seeking a team-oriented contributor to support a high-demand business interaction environment by customizing Encompass GUIs across the organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of Business Analysts who partner with business leaders to design and enhance solutions that improve the customer experience. Responsibilities: • Design, implement and maintain all Encompass custom forms and business rules, • Troubleshoot and define Encompass functionality and find ways to implement solutions within existing Empower parameters without having to rely on FNIS software to update and enhance product wherever possible, • Assist on a regular basis the document design staff with document scripting and troubleshooting, • With Business Analyst approval, provide user setups, design and implement all Encompass level loan/user securities, • Carry out activities as designated by a Project Manager or Team Leader, • Perform processes as necessary to tune and maintain proprietary software to meet the needs of our users., • Under general supervision, maintain and modify existing application programs, • Write new programs of moderate to complex difficulty and scope working with basic applications systems’ designs and specifications while utilizing standard procedures and techniques in accordance with standards, • Develop internal programming specifications, • Prepare programs requiring a wide variety and extensive number of internal processing actions, • Participate in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, vendor contracts and detail systems design, • Serve as the primary document specialist when document design staff is not available, • Conduct code walk-throughs as needed, • Make recommendations to management regarding programming standards and techniques when necessary, • Perform data analysis, systems requirements definition and external design tasks upon request, • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company, • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, • Two to ffiver years’ experience as a programmer in a hardware/software environment, • Ability to perform programming debugging, data analysis and limited system analysis, • Superior planning, problem solving, and analytical skills, • Superb interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, • Previous experience working with “packaged/proprietary” software essential, • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Encompass LOS platform in a configuration or development capacity., • Proficient in customizing input forms, field triggers, business rules, and milestone workflows., • Experience building and maintaining custom Encompass plug-ins using the Encompass SDK (C# or VB.NET)., • Strong understanding of loan origination processes across retail, wholesale, and correspondent channels., • Proven experience with Encompass Partner Connect (EPC) integrations or web service-based third-party integrations (e.g., Credit, VOE/VOI, Title, MI)., • Familiarity with MISMO standards, XML/JSON data formats, and API tools like Postman., • Experience working with Encompass Reporting Database for custom reporting or pipeline analytics., • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis within the Encompass environment., • Experience collaborating with business analysts, loan ops teams, and vendor partners to refine requirements and deliver scalable solutions., • Exposure to compliance-driven rulesets (e.g., ATR/QM, TRID, FHA/VA guidelines) is a plus., • Experience participating in Encompass upgrade cycles, release validations, or sandbox refreshes.Company DescriptionAt Darbytek, our goal is to build a better future for people and business. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Symitar core banking systems and related applications. You’ll serve as a technical expert and escalation point for critical business applications, ensuring system reliability, performance, and innovation across our financial technology landscape. This position blends hands-on development with system administration and user support. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and help drive operational excellence through automation, integration, and custom programming.
