Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION CDL DRIVER Job Duties • Responsible for delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co. products within assigned accounts, • Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products, • Manages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each account, • Provides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner, • Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers, • Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations, • Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD’s collected and all related paperwork., • Completion of daily DOT pre-trips and post-trips., • High school diploma or GED required, • Valid Driver License and DOT medical card required, • Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required, • Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred, • Must have excellent customer service skills, • Requires a strong attention to detail, • Must be able to meet company MVR standard, • Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers, • Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively, • Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics, • Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative., • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours, • May require sitting or standing for extended periods., • Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance, • Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 170 lbs. with or without assistance, • Job duties are performed in warehouse, at loading dock and inside and outside retail buildings., • Exposure to outside weather (heat and cold), walk-in cooler temperatures, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels. Description The HDD Foreman is responsible for all duties associated with and related to the safe, efficient and cost- effective operation of Directional Drills and various mud mixing equipment. Excavator and or backhoe experience preferred. Responsibilities: * Must be able to set up and run out of town projects on your own. Includes drilling multiple duct packages, setting pedestals and hand holes as well as blowing fiber. * Must be proficient in HDD Operation for pilot bore, reaming and product pullback. Properly operate rod loader systems and pump levels. Ditch Witch and Vermeer Experience preferred. * Must be proficient with HDD mud mixing equipment and have a working knowledge of mud mixing materials and quantities. * Working knowledge of HDD Locate Equipment. * Perform general site preparation, restoration and right of way maintenance duties * Develop proficiency in safe operation of HDD and other equipment. * Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment * Run power tools * Perform hand digging * Transport Equipment to and From Jobsites * Load and Unload Equipment * Maintain material inventory on truck * Active leadership skills as lead position while crew foreman is offsite. * Working knowledge of underground utilities. * Working knowledge of 811 Requirements and Procedures * Class A CDL REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Education: High school diploma Experience: 3 years' experience preferred Preferred: * Knowledge of Horizontal Directional Drilling techniques and standards. Required: * Must have valid driver’s license as well as Class A CDL.
