Job Description OVERVIEW – We’re seeking a DSP-2 Respite Lead to join our TERI team! The DSP-2 Respite Weekend Lead is responsible for supervision of the individuals served at TERI and implementation of any and all individualized schedules, learning, and behavior support plans; provision of active support; and assistance with health care and daily life skills. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES – • Assists individuals with self-care and activities of daily living, providing the appropriate level of support. Depending on the program, can include making meals, shopping, assisting clients with laundry and maintaining a clean and organized home or program., • Assures that choices are an integral part of a client/student’s day and assures that these are available; honors individual choice whenever possible based on safety and individual needs/restrictions., • Delivers individual program plans/goals and behavior support plans as designed; assures active support for all persons served., • Provides on-going training, supervision, and evaluation of facility staff and volunteers by providing feedback to facility staff promptly when needed., • Develops and/or completes necessary documentation, including, but not limited to:, • Skills Training Data Sheets, Communication Logs, Incident/Injury Reports, Special Incident Reports, Daily activity schedule, Behavior Support Charts, Medication documentation, and other forms of documentation as requested by supervisors. Your Role & Responsibilities – • Prepare and plate menu items according to Café Manager guidance, recipes, and quality standards., • Set up and maintain prep stations, stock inventory, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen., • Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders., • Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control, and efficient production for high-volume service., • Comply with all food safety regulations, licensing requirements, and TERI operational procedures., • Minimum of two (2) years of recent mid-to-high-volume scratch cooking experience in a professional kitchen., • Availability to work nights, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed., • Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment., • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, inventory management, and restaurant technology platforms (e.g., Toast, Sling, Xtra Chef)., • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance with local health regulations. Pay – $22/hr. - $25/hr.
