Originally built as the headquarters for the New York Times at the turn of the 20th century, the building is being reimagined as a modern-day destination for entertainment, technology, and art by Jamestown. For more information, visit JOB SUMMARY AND DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK: The Vice President of Marketing for One Times Square will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the overall business plan for the asset, execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and maximize property revenue across the asset’s various businesses, including Times Travel, The VIP Experience, EVER, NextGen, and OTS Signature Events. This role is responsible for developing and managing marketing campaigns, digital presence, media relations, and promotional strategies to position One Times Square as a premier destination. The VP of Marketing will lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with corporate goals and market trends. Essential Functions Strategic Marketing Leadership • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports One Times Square’s holistic marketing strategy and individual operation objectives in collaboration with the Corporate Creative Team., • Oversee digital and traditional media campaigns, including social media, content marketing, and programmatic advertising., • Lead brand positioning efforts to enhance awareness and drive engagement across all marketing channels., • Manage relationships with external creative agencies to develop compelling marketing materials and campaigns., • Develop marketing programs to drive engagement, foot traffic, and visitor experience., • Establish partnerships with local businesses, tourism organizations, and media outlets to increase visibility., • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on industry rends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and adapt strategic marketing decisions., • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess marketing effectiveness and optimize campaigns., • Serve as a secondary point of contact for media relations and corporate communications., • Support thought leadership content, press releases, and executive messaging., • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control., • Motivate a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative environment., • Work across multiple departments such as sales, revenue management, and customer service to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving business goals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Experience: • 8+ years of leadership experience in marketing, with a strong background in real estate, hospitality, or destination marketing., • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns., • Strong leadership and team management capabilities., • Extensive experience in marketing at the strategic level., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills., • Proficiency in marketing analytics and performance measurement tools., • Bilingual or multilingual ability is a plus., • Must be willing to travel as needed for property visits, events, and industry conferences. This role involves physical activity, including walking through the attraction and standing for extended periods. Tasks may vary in duration and intensity each day and require the ability to operate the necessary equipment with care and dexterity. Working Conditions The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, travel, and evening/weekend/holiday hours to meet deadlines or attend special events.
