It's simple: Gas... Delivered. Purpose of Role: Tankr is seeking a Fuel Delivery Driver in Savannah, Georgia. The main responsibilities of a Fuel Delivery Driver will be transporting and delivering fuel (gasoline and diesel) directly to our commercial clients’ sites and refueling their vehicles and equipment. This service will be performed at night while the equipment is idle. The equipment includes, but is not limited to, trucks, cars, forklifts, generators, and air compressors. Compliance with OSHA, EPA, FMCSA, and DOT regulations, as well as adherence to Company and Customer Safety Policies, procedures, and practices, is essential as this position may involve working in various weather conditions, a high level of physical activity, and being around fumes and high noise levels. The Fuel Delivery Driver must be available to work evenings, overnights, and weekends. Our services run seven days a week and shift schedules vary. We expect our employee to have a winning attitude, a strong work ethic, and for them to take pride in their work This is not a bulk drop position. It is a mobile fleet fueling role, which involves fueling multiple vehicles within a fleet at various locations. Full Time - Local Starting Salary: $30 with overtime when available 2nd/3rd Shift; Expected to work 8 to 12 hours Night Shift and Weekends are Required Main Job Requirements: • Minimum 21 years of age with a minimum Class A or B CDL, • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement, • A clean driving record and pass a background check, • Able to pass DOT Alcohol/Drug Testing, • Must be able to work nights and weekends, • Perform pre-trip/post-trip to ensure delivery vehicles meet DOT requirement and equipment is in good operating condition., • Service-oriented position providing fueling to fleet vehicles., • Required to follow Standard Operation Protocols and act as a contributor and role model for safety requirements, • Load trucks at terminal with the ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, such as rain, snow, high, and low temperatures., • Ability to do repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, squatting, and turning up to 12 hours and lift up to 50lbs, • Must be able to walk, stand, and pull hose repeatedly for up to 12 hours and climb in/out of truck numerous times per shift, • Directly refueling up to 250 vehicles/equipment in total, daily, across multiple stops, • Understand that they will be exposed to hazardous fumes daily, • Perform routine maintenance on fuel systems and equipment, • Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues with fuel storage and distribution systems, • Monitor fuel levels and quality to ensure efficient operations, • Collaborate with team members to coordinate fueling schedules and deliveries, • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling fuel-related tasks, • Keep accurate records of fuel usage and maintenance activities, • Troubleshoot and repair fuel system components as needed, • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to fuel management, • 401(k), • Employee discount program, • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Paid time off, • Paid training
