Responsibilities: - Oversee daily body shop operations for productivity and efficiency. - Responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring that all estimates align with industry standards and customer expectations. - Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. - Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using CCC ONE software. - Communicate with insurance adjusters for estimates and negotiate repairs. - Assist customers with insurance claims and rental arrangements. - Schedule appointments and coordinate with the shop operations manager for parts and supplies. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing regarding their vehicle's condition, repair options, costs, and concerns throughout the repair process. - Coordinate repairs with the shop operations manager and technicians to ensure efficiency. - Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure all repairs are properly documented and estimated - Monitor repair timelines and resolve any delays. - Conduct quality control inspections before vehicle delivery. - Collect payments and manage insurance adjuster communications for estimates and supplements. - Generate invoices and responsible for billing. - Stay updated on collision repair techniques and industry trends.

Job Description: AK Auto Collision is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician who is highly proficient in automotive painting, chassis straightening and cutting, quarter panel replacement, and high-quality Bondo finishing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both structural and cosmetic repair work, with a focus on precision, professionalism, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality paint jobs using spray guns, blending techniques, and proper color matching. Pull and cut chassis components using frame machines, measuring systems, and welding tools. Accurately replace quarter panels and other structural parts in line with OEM standards. Carry out expert-level Bondo work and surface preparation to ensure seamless finishes. Sand, prime, mask, and prepare vehicles for paint and refinishing. Use proper safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards. Inspect completed work to ensure high-level craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of auto body repair and paint experience required. Proficient with frame machines, welding, painting systems, and bodywork tools. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, filler techniques, and refinishing standards. Ability to read and interpret repair orders and OEM specifications. Must be punctual, dependable, and capable of working independently.
